  • Realtime pipeline for animation, VR and game production
  • Bridge between and tools for Unity, Ftrack, and various asset creation environments (Maya, Nuke, Substance, After effects, ...)

My role

  • Continuous support for active productions using the pipeline
  • Maintenance and improvement of various unity tools:
    • Asset importer and updater, linking Ftrack and Unity
    • Custom render tool, using Unity timeline and recorder, ffmpeg, Deadline and Ftrack
    • AI framework and tools for creating determenistic crowds
    • Scene and prefab locking tool using Unity and ftrack
  • Prototype new UI designs and implementation using the new Unity UI Toolkit.

Synk is the realtime production pipeline developed by The Pack, designed for VFX, animation and game projects. It acts as the bridge between Unity, Ftrack and numerous 3D asset creation environments. Thanks to its collection of tools, it offers a seamless integration and coversion from 3D movie management, tracking and production, to realtime VR experiences and videogames.
